About us

Why This Site Exists

It started with a birthday dinner that went sideways. Six of us, one big table, and nobody could agree on what to order because the only menu we could find online was a blurry photo from three years back. Half the prices had changed, a couple of dishes were gone, and my uncle spent ten minutes arguing about a steak that wasn’t even on the list anymore. Somebody said, “Someone should just keep all this in one place.” So we did.

What You’ll Find

This is a menu guide for Texas Roadhouse, written by regular customers rather than the restaurant. You can look through the steaks, ribs, chicken, burgers, sides, kids’ meals, and desserts, and get a rough idea of what things cost before you leave the house. We also add little notes from our own visits, like which sides people actually finish and which ones tend to get left on the plate.

And yes, we’ve written about those rolls. Anyone who has been there knows why.

How We Keep Things Up to Date

Honestly, it’s a bit of detective work. We check the official menus when they’re published, we compare notes with friends in different cities, and we read what our visitors send in. Prices are the tricky part. They vary from one restaurant to the next, and they change more often than you’d think. So treat the numbers here as a good guess, not a promise. If you want the exact price, call your local restaurant or look at their own menu when you arrive.

One Important Thing

We are not Texas Roadhouse. We aren’t owned by them, sponsored by them, or in any way connected to the company or its restaurants. We can’t take reservations, answer questions about your order, or sort out a problem with a visit. The name and any related logos belong to their owners, and we only use them so you can tell what we’re writing about.

A Note on Allergies

If anyone at your table has a food allergy, please don’t go by what you read on our site, or any website really. Kitchens change ingredients and the way food is prepared. Ask the staff and check the restaurant’s own allergen information before you order. It only takes a minute and it matters.

Who We Are

Just a few people who like a good steak and hate guessing. None of us are chefs or restaurant critics, and we don’t pretend to be. We write what we’d tell a friend who asked us what to get.

Help Us Fix Things

If you see something that’s wrong, a price that’s moved, or a dish that’s disappeared, tell us through the Contact Us page. We really do read those messages, and most of our corrections come from them.
