Here’s how we handle information on this website. We’ve tried to write it the way we’d explain it to a friend, which means no legal fog. By using the site, you’re agreeing to what’s below.
What We Collect
Very little. You don’t need an account to look at a menu, and we don’t ask you for personal details just to read a page.
If you send us a message through the contact form, we’ll get your name, your email address, and whatever you wrote. We use that to reply to you. That’s it.
Like every website, we also see a few technical things when you visit: your IP address, the type of phone or computer and browser you’re using, roughly where you are, which pages you looked at, and how you got here. We don’t know who you are from any of that.
Why We Look at It
It tells us what people actually want. If lots of visitors keep opening the dessert page, we know to keep it updated. If a page takes forever to load on phones, we know something’s wrong. We also use it to spot spam and people trying to mess with the site. We don’t build profiles on anyone and we don’t try to follow you around the web.
Cookies
We use a few small cookies so the site works properly and remembers basic things. You can switch cookies off in your browser whenever you like. Some parts of the site might not behave quite as well if you do, but the menus should still be readable.
Who Gets to See Your Information
Just us. We don’t sell your details or pass them to other companies. The only exceptions would be if the law required us to hand something over, or if we had to protect the site or other visitors from something harmful.
Things You Shouldn’t Send Us
We don’t take orders or payments, so there’s never a reason to send a card number, bank details, or a password. Please don’t. If something like that turns up in a message by accident, we’ll delete it.
How Safe Is It?
We do the sensible things: we keep the website updated and we limit who can see the messages we receive. But nothing online is completely safe, and it wouldn’t be honest to say otherwise.
How Long We Keep Messages
Only as long as we need them to answer you, or as long as the law says we have to. After that they’re deleted.
Links to Other Sites
Sometimes we link to the restaurant’s official website or to other pages that might be handy. We don’t control those sites, and what they do with your information is up to them. It’s worth glancing at their privacy policies.
Kids
This website is written for adults, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we find out that we have, we’ll delete it.
Your Choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send a message through the Contact Us page and we’ll sort it out.
If This Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The latest version will always be here, and if you keep using the site after a change, that means you’re okay with it.
